Co-PI: Karen Martirosyan
Bio
Dr. Martirosyan (Co-PI) has extensive expertise in solid-state physics, including experiments and modeling/simulation of nanoscale systems. He has demonstrated success in technology transfer from academia to the industrial sector and has led numerous interdisciplinary, multi-institutional research projects. He directed a comprehensive interdisciplinary nanoscience program supported by NSF, DOD, and AFRL with a strong education component focused on nanoscience curriculum development and facilitating graduate research. Dr. Martirosyan is a prior Associated Vice President for Research Enhancement at UTRGV with a strong experience in Research Administration including research operations, faculty professional development, compliance, and technology transfer.
