Co-PI: Soma Mukherjee
Bio
Dr. Mukherjee (co-PI) is a member of the LIGO-Virgo-KAGRA collaboration for GW astronomy and has contributed innovative data analysis methods such as a Kalman Filter for mitigating thermal noise, simulation models of real detector noise, and a non-stationarity tracking monitor used by LIGO. She is among the pioneers of ML in the GW community. Mukherjee played a major role in education and outreach for the LIGO-partnered Griphyn-iVDGL project.
